Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) is a service offered by the United States Postal Service that allows businesses to send marketing materials to every household and business on designated postal routes without needing individual addresses.
EDDM lets you target particular neighborhoods by selecting mail routes or zip codes, then sending postcards, flyers, or other mail pieces to every household on that route. We handle everything from design and printing to bundling and shipping your materials to the Post Office for delivery.

Co-Op EDDM offers a cost-effective solution by allowing multiple businesses to share a large 9x12 mailer. By combining ads on a single mailpiece, each business can reduce its mailing costs while still reaching a local audience. This option is ideal for smaller businesses or those looking for a more cost-effective solution, as you can still reach a local audience and remain exclusive to your industry or service without the higher price tag of a Solo campaign.
Which is right for you?
Both options offer a great way to connect with your community—it's simply a matter of choosing the right fit for your budget and goals.
The cost depends on the size and weight of your mailpiece, as well as the quantity. Solo EDDM campaigns tend to be more expensive since you're covering the entire cost of design, printing, and delivery. Co-Op EDDM is generally more affordable as costs are shared with other businesses.
While you can’t directly track individual mail deliveries with EDDM, you can measure the effectiveness of your campaign by tracking responses, customer visits, or sales during and after the mail drop. Including special offers, QR codes, or custom URLs in your mail pieces can also help track engagement.
Delivery will depend on which EDDM campaign you selected. Solo campaigns will have a faster turnaround time, typically 5-7 days for distribution once it’s submitted for print. Co-Op campaigns may take a little longer due to the variables of having multiple businesses meeting submission deadlines and filling a card.
